I don't have proper notes most of the Jr Ladies Short -- I missed the first 10 skaters because I was posting my notes from the Jr Men's Short and at the draw for their Free Program. I only have notes on a few of the skaters in the middle.
According to everyone I talked to, it wasn't a well-skated event. There were only 6 clean triples landed by the 26 ladies. Jessica Dube popped her lutz and fell on the flip.
One thing of note:
Erin Scherrer spiked herself on the top of her right foot during warmup at the practise rink and skated with 9 stiches in the top of her foot. She arrived at the draw on crutches. How she even managed to skate, much less well enough to place 3rd is increddi ble!!!
