Also I can't wait to see how their programs are coming along. I wasn't completely sold on their SD, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE Carmen and can't wait to see it more polished. I also can't wait to see their SD with them going all out and (hopefully) not punching each other!

That's a good question. It they change it today (and they may exactly because of the injury risk to Scott), chances are they will use a lift they have used before. It's really very soon to put in a lift learned from scratch (between now and SC).
Or they may do a variation on an old lift like they did with their SD last year between Finlandia and SC (although they had two weeks for that instead of 1, I think)Originally Posted by dorispulaski

I suspect that's what they will do; the rotational lifts always seem to score the highest GOE's. There's only one 6 second rotational lift in FF though. The other lift with a rotation in it is a 12 second combination lift and can't be used in an SD.

According to practice reports, Tessa and Scott took a lift from FF for their SD. Called it!
I am shocked that V&M didn't have their own Fan Fest thread before now. I love both them and D&W and I love the rivalry between these two teams. They are so different from each other but both so talented. It's like comparing apples and oranges, so I just let the judges decide the results while I sit back and enjoy the genius of both teams.
So, what are your favorite programs from V&M? They put the "dance" back in ice dance, and they are so amazing to watch. At the top of my list are Umbrellas of Cherbourg and Mahler. I also love their 2010 OD. Funny Face was great, although I still like Umbrellas of Cherbourg and Mahler more. As far as Carmen, I personally love it and I'm so glad they didn't do a run-of the mill Carmen interpretation.
