Men with FS scores of 145+ for 2012 GP series

Okay here are the FS scores for the men. Enjoy. And to clarify the median is the middle among these top skaters, not overall. So to say someone is below the median doesn't mean they didn't have a good score, but just as an indicator of where they are relative to the other top skaters.

There are 16 scores on this list from 12 skaters (Chan, Kozuka, Oda and Machida are on there twice having done 2 GPs already; Amodio, Abbott, Menshov, Mura and Brezina did not score high enough in their previous GPs to make the list; Fernandez, Takahashi and Hanyu have another event to skate.)

Japan has six skaters represented on this list, with the U.S., Canada, Czech Republic, Spain, Russia and France all having one skater each on this list.

    -----
UPDATED 12/09/12 to include GPF scores. We now have 27 scores on this list. Country breakdown is the same.
EDITED 11/24/12 to include NHK Scores. 22 scores from 15 skaters included on this list. Country breakdown: JPN: 6; USA: 3; CAN: 2; SPA: 1; FRA: 1; CZE: 1; RUS: 1

Maxim Kovtun, Joshua Farris, and Nathan Chen have also scored over 145 for FS at JGPs this season.

I was looking just at GPs, but I probably will go ahead and add JGP when I have a chance.

This is interesting to look at, thanks for putting it together! I think Fernandez and Chan's TES scores are flipped in order though.

Yuzuru got -3 deduction due to his falls. Brenzia was a typo. Thanks for pointing it out...

Will be interesting to see how Fernandez, Hanyu and Takahashi's NHK PCS scores stack up against Chan's, provided they skate cleanly. Would give us a good idea of how the competition at Worlds and the GPF might play out. Sooo excited!

Not really as Chan was well below his best in both COR and SC .At SC Fernandez was close to his best.

Yeah, maybe not Fernandez but who knows! I think Chan skated quite well performance-wise at COR, so his mark should still be fairly reflective of where he's at - even if he scores a couple points more down the road. He doubled some jumps, but I highly doubt that affected his PCS marks all that much.

    Updated w/ NHK scores

    Some new stats to consider:
** We now have 22 scores from 15 skaters that made the cut. The country breakdown is as follows: Japan, 6; USA, 3; Canada, 2; Russia, 1; France, 1; Spain, 1; Czech Republic, 1.
** The repeaters on this list include Chan, Fernandez, Kozuka, Hanyu, Takahashi, Oda and Machida. Five out of six of those skaters are in the GPF.
** Kozuka, Miner and Chan are the highest scoring among their respective countries.
** Chan and Oda are the only two skaters to have both overall scores above the median; Oda was also the only skater to have his TES score from both of his GPs above the median.
** Chan, Kozuka, Takahashi and Hanyu are the only skaters out of 15 to have PCS from both of their GPs above the median.

Ross is very talented, and I wish he’ll skate this well at US Nationals and make the world team.

Okay did the country breakdown; see original post. For all the fuss about the downfall of the U.S. men, they are actually second as far as number of skaters on the list, behind Japan.

Scores up updated for GPF. We now have members of two key clubs: The 90+ TES club and the 90+ PCS club. Each club have two members each and the list are quite difference. The TES club is Javier Fernandez and Yuzuru Hanyu. The PCS club is Patrick Chan and Daisuke Takahashi. Which begs the question at Worlds, which club will have more influence on who is on that podium?
