Virtue and Moir will be very hard to beat. D/W second with places 3-6 being the same as qualifying seeds. Politiks will not allow rocking of the boat here. Barring, of course, unusual errors from the skaters causing deductions, these will be the placements.

Hopefully Bobrova and Soloviev will get at least 4th place. I wonder whether they can stave off Capellini and Lanotte - hopefully Zhulin has helped them get their YP levels up.

And I obviously want Virtue and Moir to win their first GPF - I think that Carmen is a masterpiece!

I think 4-6 could be mixed around a bit, depending on how they skate. 1-2 are up for grabs between the top two teams, but I think it's almost definite that P&B will be in third. It'll be weird not having the Shibutanis or Weaver and Poje there.

Not really sure how you arrive at this conclusion. D/W have outscored them throughout the series. I know you can't compare scores across events but I don't think V/M are gonna breeze in and get the gold.

I hope to see Davis and White at the top--I really like both of their programs this year. Virtue/Moir have a beautiful Carmen but I'm not quite buying their polka short. Not enough polka energy in it for me.

Either way, I guess we are really talking about bronze anyway. Wouldn't it be great if Cappellini and Lanotte landed on the podium as well! I think they're grossly underrated! Besides them, I personally am just not that moved by any of the other 3 teams. I'd rather see Weaver/Poje or the Shibs in there.

It would be very cool to see C&L on the podium. They and V&M and D&W are all part of the same graduating class from Juniors -2006 their last Jr Worlds, 2006-2007 their first Senior Wolrds.
