    Thank you for this information.

I found some ZiJun's National Grand Prix skates vids

    LP

(2A+3T upgraded content from NHK where she just did a 2A)

She is due for a B event Volvo Open Cup in Jan 2013

    -------------------

I wish the best for ZiJun in 2013, i had a dig around my youtube archive and found this

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ASMAnCQaFVM

It seems China has always expected her to be #1. This clip was back in 2010 looking on wards to 2011 (Year of Rabbit). Where she she was with her coach Li MingZhu at the CCTV Chinese new year end program. They were asked to pick a word to describe their hope for the future. Zijun picked the word "Fulfillment", Mingzhu picked "Work", the two word together makes the term "Success". They have certainly had achieved great success for China 2 years on.

    Well done!!

These videos are not in National Championships as I mentioned but in National Grand Prix in Sep 20-21.
In National Championships, Zijun cleaned SP and almost cleaned LP except 3S1T<<1lo while all other single skaters made at least three mistakes in two programs due to the terrible quality of the ice surface.
There is no video of Zijun's programs in NC yet. Someone shooted videos but it takes time to upload them onto the web. I will update the video links as soon as they upload.
This is a fragment of SP in news report.

    Zijun's FS at 4CC, 10th Feb 2013

    http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XNTEzMTM1MTEy.html

    Season best: 115.91

2nd highest in TES, underscored in PCS again imo. Keep working harder Zijun, you will get there!

MWhahahaha... the 2nd and only clean FS of the night after her Idol Yuna, 7 triples program including 3F3T and 2A3T. Love her reaction here. Finally she got great world attention at the biggest event of the season. I am so glad I picked her up early in her career as one to watch for and even placed her above Osmond among all the hype lol. Turns out Zijun did came 7th in the end, 1 above Osmond (which I called it in another thread before) even she has been very little hyped and been dinged with low PCS all year like Hanyu was last year. She does have A LOT to improve in all aspect of her skating, but her potential and room to grow is enormous. Her problem is also to do with Federation power and support. Chinese Federation is pretty much useless that its competitors rarely receive favors for home events unlike other GP series. This is fine actually, she will just need to work harder to earner her PCS like Yuna.

Now I just look forward to the next young skater to prove herself. Come on Karen Chen of USA Grow up quickly and show us what you got! 3F3loop girl with the midas touch .
Reading some of the Chinese figure skating boards made me lol. Everyone is waiting for Yuna to retire so she can reign. Bit early to make that prediction, but I think she is very good for her age and I am really looking forward to see how proceed next year.

Good job, girl! I'm a fan now for sure!
Chinese girls do not have obvious change of body shape during puberty. So I'm not worried at all. She should be just fine and getting better and better.

A short interview about her idol..

    http://youtu.be/ASMAnCQaFVM
host: who is your role model?
    ZiJun: Kim Yuna
    Host: Why Kim Yuna?
ZiJun: Because her skate feels different to most other skaters.
    Host: Why different?
ZiJun: Hmm... her speed, such her expressions, her jump quality... all.
Host: Do you have any particular rivals?
    ZiJun: Too many Rivals (laughs).
Host: Hmm... okay fine, let's take a look at this chart, it could include your Idol, but it may be what it will look like in the next 3 year's time the competitive environment. What do you consider you would most like to be?
ZiJun: (Nervously shy laugh) If I want to be good, I would like to be similar to Kim Yuna?
