Pairs, SP
1. Totmianina/Marinin
“Variations on a Theme of Pagaini”
3WR, 3T good, 2Tw, lift a bit laboured. We didn’t see her practising the 3T, so good for her that she landed it

2. Petrova/Tikhonov
“Baxter”
3T she three turn out of it, 2Tw, 3WR nice, difficult pair spin, lift slow but with variation
Said that she didn’t really know why she made the mistake, the jump worked fine in practice and warm up.

3. Obertas/Slavnov
3T he hung on to it, 2Tw, 3WF step out, overall a bit hesitant

4. Borzenkova/Chuviliaev
3T he fell

5. Shestakova/Lebedev
WS3 a bit shaky, 3T she step out, lift simple, sbs spin a little off. Looked a bit shaky, but have potential

Ladies, FP
1. E. Sokolova
“Notre Dame”
Wasn’t yet able to realize everything she can do in practice. 3L heavily two-footed, 3F, 3S shaky, 3R-2T, L popped, 3T, 2A, spins mediocre

2. J. Soldatova
“Spartacus”
Comeback! But if the rules don’t change, she won’t be able to represent Russia this season. 3S-2R, 3L, 3F, 3R, 2A, 3T, nice spins, nice flow and good presentation. Wins the FS

3. K. Oblasova
“Teheran 43”, “Secret Garden”
2A, 3L-2T, 3R, 3F shaky, 3S fell, 3T fell, 3S, 3L shaky, combo spin wobbly

4. A. Gershkovitch
“Sheherazade”
3L, 3F step out, 3S, R popped, 2A, 3L-2T, 3T-2T fell, nice spins, nice to watch

5. T. Basova
“Amélie”
3L, 2F, 3R w/hand, 2A, 3T underrotated/two feet, 1S two feet

6. V. Volchkova
3L two-feet, stumble, 2R, 2F, 3T shaky, 3S two-footed, 1A, 2L

Ice Dancing, OD
1. Navka/Kostomarov
Blues, Rock’n’Roll good program, good flow and expression, but he stumbled on a twizlle in their (difficult) sbs footwork, and they had another little wobble

2. Domnina/Shabalin
Blues, Boogie Woogie
Nice program, but not too difficult. I think they changed and upgraded their spin

3. Kulikova/Novikov
Rock’n’Roll, Blues, Rock’n’Roll
They were completely off at the beginning, three stumbles, later on they got better into it, but the performance was messy

4. Khokhlova/Novicki
not bad, but too pale. Still, I preferred them over Kulikova/Novikov
