Hmm... not a good program for Machida, the nerves have really played an important part, I think: we've never seen such a mistake in the 3A from Tatsuki this season!

Tatsuki Machida
Sad fall on the 3A, just a little scratchy on the entry edge. He's just nervous. Trying to rough on the 3F, only able to get out a 2T. Good 3Lz. Better stop to the ending than prior programs, but he'll lose about 10 points off his season's best. Probably a 72 or something like that.

Great 4T (no URs this time!). Great death drop into sit spin. Rough 3A landing (will get -3 even without fall). Strong 3Lz+3T. A lot of quiet power throughout the performance. He should get around a 85-86.

Machida looked tight or a bit nervous. I love Kozuka's skating...but that's too bad on the 3A; with his skating, he sort of, for me at least, casts a kind of sublime spell on me, but we he falls, it shatters it for a second.
Kozuka
86.39 (PB) and into 2nd. Good score
If Kuzuka get a haircut, he may have enough height to rotate his 4T all the time![]()
The B. Eurosport guys talking about how impressed they are with Ross Miner this season, fwiw.
Looks like Taka and Dai are really working on those quads. I'm glad Taka got a good score even with the fall because there's so much that is great about his skating.
