Jenny Kirk had the flu during the competition

I think she did well, considering she was sick, and had to skate after Michelle Kwan. I don't understand why Dick and Peggy were harping on Jenny not skating well enough. She won the bronze, landed 5 triples including triple toe/triple toe.

I hope Kirk takes some time off to rest and recover. She looks too thin.

That definitely explains her bad coughing after she left the ice... she didn't look to well leaving the Kiss'n'Cry area. I hope she makes a full recovery... get well Jenny and congrats on your first national medal!
