Congrats, Mao! And Kanako, too: she had a horrible season last year, she now deserves some success! Akiko and Imai: Satoko:

I am thrilled for Kanako, I felt she was hugely underscored in Canada, plus she had bad luck in Rostelecom Cup with one of her jumps being invalidated and missing a medal by the smallest of margins. I can't wait to see her program and her smile at the end.
Akiko is a strong girl and will pull herself together at worlds, I have no doubt about that

Oh my. Satoko is so tiny!

I'm sad that Akiko finished off the podium, but I think it's pretty safe to say that she'll be going to Worlds since Satoko is too young to. Congrats to the medalists! Can't wait to see their programs!

Congrats to Mao, she does it again! I am going to watch Mao's FS now thank you for posting.

Sad for Akiko she was so strong in her SP. I was really shocked that she
finished off the podium. I understand that she will be on the 4CC Team and Worlds Team
    because of Satoko's age.

    Congrats to Kanako and Satoko!

Kanako, Rika Hongo and Miyabi Ohba (with one fall) did programs with 7 triples.

Mao is going to have to have less negative goe's at worlds if she is to get a gold. She had three, while the women in second and third and fourth place had only one each.

Rika Hongo was energetic and powerful!!
Her skating may be a little bit rough, but I like her big jumps!
