There is no live feed. They don't even show it live in Japan, only delayed coverage.

There's an application called KeyHole TV and one was able to watch the FujiTV station on. I don't know if it still works. But the quality is so awful/blurry, it's not worth the hassle.

This channel on YouTube posts the videos the next day: http://www.youtube.com/user/icechannel2011

BTW -- the broadcasting starts at 7pm local time (5am Eastern in US)

It's to last for HOURS, but I'm probably not going to start watching until maybe 8 or 8:30 b/c I'm only interested in the final group. (And certainly not interested in watching 1 hour's worth of Mao Fluff)

If anyone is diehard and wants to watch the broadcast (not live) that Nadia01 kindly mentioned.

Download the app KeyHole TV: http://www.v2p.jp/video/english/

Find channel: Fuji TV, it will appear in Japanese as フジテレビ 1

The video quality is awful, but it's better than nothing.

Delayed coverage starts at 5 AM EST.

Also note that the coverage is to go on for hours, and I think that it'll have lots of fluff for Mao. (That's how they ended up turning GPF ladies short into a 2 hour madness -- 1 hour of Mao fluff & 40 mins of real comp, taped delayed by 1 hour so that they can force Mao fluff on the audience who thought they were going to watch GPF short live.)

Gosh. The winner did 3T+2T, 3F, and 2A. Second place did 2A, 3F+2Lo, 1Lo. Both scored in the 60s. They must have done some great spins and steps.

Akiko and Mao's scores are not uncommon, for example:

Ashley has scored in the 60's for her SP at GPF, SA and TEB without a 3x3.

Caro has scored 70.13 for her SP at Italian Nationals without a 3x3.

I believe that Mao got a 67.95 at NHK without a 3/3 or a triple axel. That seems way too high to me--I don't think a skater should be able to get over 65 for a short without a 3/3, and definitely not without both a 3Lz and 3F-- but it's not like the judges at Japanese Nationals are giving scores that are way above the scores international judges sometimes give.

Wow Kanako Murakami just topped Akiko Suzuki! She's currently in first place, this is interesting :p

Update: And Mao Asada is the Japanese champion

AND WOW Miyahara Tomoko is now in third place! I don't think this is going to change, by congrats to her. I had a feeling she would sneak onto the podium 'cause she is super talented despite her 'small' jumps. Sadly, I didn't expect Akiko to be out of the podium, but there's a high chance she is going to Worlds given that Miyahara is probably going to Junior Worlds.

Miyahara is not eligible for worlds so unless the last two girls pull a Mura, Akiko is safe for worlds

Haha, yes I went to check Miyahara's age just now. Akiko is safe then :) She's currently in fourth place, and I highly doubt the last two skaters will beat her score.
