Sorry to hear about Yuri's injury but I'm glad we will get to see S/K's awesome programs.

A good chance? Do you really think S/K or the Italians would beat them?

Given how K/S have skated so far this season, it's not impossible.

K/S have 1 gold medal in France, 1 silver medal in China, a trip to the Grand Prix Final not to mention beating them at nationals; what exactly has S/K done so far this season? Let's compare the two....

So sad to see no Belgian entry in Men :( Guess Jorik's broken ankle ruined his preparation time. I'm pretty sure he's back on the ice now.

Team Russia, VolTran including, as well as RusFed officials are stuck in Budapest airport because Zagreb denied the permission to land- zero visibility due to bad weather. It might affect the schedule parctice for some skaters.

Btw, speaking about VolTran, I don't know if it were mentioned anywhere, but yesterday on Jan 20th Max's father suddenly died at the age of 62 in his home town. Maxim decided to attent Euros nevertheless, where he will compete on Jan 23 and 24. Soon after he will fly back to Russia to attend the dad's funeral that is put on hold until the son's arrival. In Budapest are VolTran, Sotnikova, Kovtun, some coaches, General Director of RusFed Valentin Piseev. http://rsport.ru/figure_skating/20130121/641023378.html (Russian)

Piseev told that Trankov's solution to compete despite father's death is his (Trankov's) own solution. http://rsport.ru/figure_skating/20130121/641031809.html (Russian)

Voronov is also there, TAT... Where is Plu? There was info that he is getting via Zurich but why should it matter if Zagreb airport is closed for all flights.

They are now considering a transit go "by land" if it's possible.....

The website says it's delayed so I'm not sure if they are there or not. I could have read it wrong though.

^ Is it true that Javi skates haven't arrived yet? That's why in all pics he is just sitting in the arena sadly and not skating. Who gives his/her skates to luggage. They must be alwasy "on board" as hand luggage.
