    Swedish Rhapsody

Hope Lori Nichol could choreograph for Akiko! Perfect match!

Don Quixote for me is perfect music for Akiko and Carmina Burana or Vocalise

A nice pic from Akiko's blog.
With Meryl at Detroit Skating Club Annual Ice Show this weekend:

Did Meryl had her hair cut?
Akiko says she borrowed a costume from Yuka.

Meryl wears her hair up for Die Fledermaus, with the mask on the side.

In the nice photo with Akiko, she is wearing her Die Fledermaus Exhibition costume, but it looks like she has taken the mask barrette off. Her hair is still up though.

Her "Fiddler on the roof" LP from Finlandia trophy was truly a masterpiece for me- sans that 1 double jump! What amazing choreography and musicality. The program was so underrated.

    Thanks a lot, jasminum!

Her EX is "The Umbrellas of Cherbourg" by Massimo Scali . Should be LOVELY without doubt! Am really looking forward to seeing this program on TV in Tokyo area this weekend.

It's exciting to realize that season preparation is speeding up. I don't know either of the pieces for the short or long programs, which is interesting. I do know The Umbrellas of Cherbourg music and am thrilled that she's using it. It's gorgeous, and Akiko will be able to convey the emotion of it.

I cannot hear "I Will Wait for You" without thinking of the episode Jurassic Bark from the TV show Futurama. If there's one skater who can embody its emotions it's Akiko Suzuki, and she does it beautifully.
