Oh, Gah, Adam -- beautiful 3-axel!!! Then the fall on the 2nd 3jump. Keep going! I don't know if I'm going to get through this. How do these skaters do it?

Yikes, I missed Armin's performance -- sounds like he didn't do that well. :(

30.84 + 33.01 -1 62.85 (8th out of 11 skaters)

So went for a quad I think he wanted a combo...but fell on the quad; little tight and sort of wonky on the landing of an otherwise nice 3 axel; little turn out on the improvised combo. nice speed and spins. but nerves were evident. I love this guy so much, but this wasn't what he wanted nor what he can do.

So Sean Rabbit --- his dad is pretty awesome. When there was a big robbery at my local rink ( my friend is one of the volunteers who runs it) his dad had the Glacier Falls FSC donate $500 to help the rink recover.

Also enjoyed Sean in the choreography competition.

he seems happy with that and looks like he had a lot of fun!

I think for next year's nationals, we should have a drinking game and take a shot everytime we see Tammy Gambill.

31.54 + 31.33 = 62.87 ( 9th out of 13 skaters)

Oh yikes, Adam is looking soooo good, and I think with confidence on his jumps (certainly he's improved under Rafael) that Adam is definitely a lot more mature and obviously a better overall skater than either Josh Farris and Max Aaron who are currently in the lead. Josh didn't do a quad, and even though Max did, he needs more presentation skills, and Max (if he made the team) would not be treated with a great deal of respect by international judges in a Worlds debut, especially having never competed on the senior GP.

I hate that the quad jump requirement has turned the sport so upside down and inside out. Components should matter more, instead of being largely used to manipulate placements!!! The judges are definitely not inflating here for sure, and that's not a bad thing, but what does it say to international judges about how the U.S. rates the quality of its skaters???

Not his best, but entertaining as well. I like how low to the ground he gets with his sit spin.

It's also worth noting that only two men have done a quad -- Max and Richard. In the first group.
