Minimum Total Technical Scores for Junior Worlds

Just making note that this week (21 January), the ISU confirmed the Minimum Total Technical Scores for the ISU World Junior Figure Skating Championships 2013.

Further to ISU Communication No. 1742, item 7, ISU Communication 1767, item 7 and internal consultations among all competent ISU bodies, it is herewith confirmed that the Minimum Total Technical Scores for the ISU World Junior Figure Skating Championships 2013 remain as stated in ISU Communication No. 1742, item 7, namely:

For entries to World Junior Figure Skating Championships

  • Men SP 20.00 points FS 40.00 points
  • Ladies SP 20.00 points FS 35.00 points
  • Pairs SP 20.00 points FS 30.00 points
  • Ice Dance SD 17.00 points FD 27.00 points
(SP = Short Program – SD = Short Dance – FS = Free Skating – FD = Free Dance)

The minimum Technical Scores can be reached in either the same or in two different International Competitions.

The required minimum Total Technical Score for the Short Program/Short Dance and the Free Skating/Free Dance segment to participate in the ISU World Junior Figure Skating Championships can only be obtained in registered International Junior Competitions/Championships.

And for those wondering about confirmation for Senior Worlds:

For the subsequent ISU Championships (ISU World Figure Skating Championships) the same evaluation is being made and the conclusions will be communicated in due time, namely 2 weeks before the entry deadline of each 2013 Championships.
