So much for your "failure of a skater" who was going to fall twice.
Good for him. Personally, I prefer Samarin and Petrov but it's not like Kolyada is a bad skater.
Kolyada with 77+ pcs , internationally he will score lower pcs than Petrov and Samarin
I will give credit to Kolyada he does a good Beillman

Russian skaters usually have strong basics and balletic training but Kolyada's posture and lines are really messy (for what you'd expect from a Russian skater). He also seems a little slow and his choreo was generic. He's a pretty incredible jumper though. Huge huge jumps.
How old is Samarin? He's so elegant and his elements are strong. If he gets a consistent 3axel, he will be a force to be reckoned with.

Alexander Samarin's birthday is June 15, 1998, so he is 14, with lots of time to get his 3A.
Incredible for his age then and given how good his technique seems to be, 3a is just a matter of time, I hope.![]()
Wow Kolyada is much improved from last season. Hope he does well at JW!
