Obviously this is a crazy notion but the potential for cool factor would be pretty high

As we are already discussing money (yep, off-season is boring), how much would a choreography from renowned choreographer cost?

My estimation is around $3,000 - 5,000 per program. The FS requires more time so the cost of ice and coaching fees (hourly) goes up. Although...I'm not sure how things go outside of the U.S.

I guess if Lena wants to work with a foreign choreographer, then you'd also have to include airfare costs for her and Inna (I'm guessing), and hotel, etc. And she might need to make another trip later in the season to make some changes. So I could see it being pretty costly compared to working with someone in Russia. (But maybe if she DOES get a sponsorship deal--or several!--it might be do-able.)

Question--does Tarasova not choreograph anymore? I was not always a huge fan of her competitive programs for Mao, but the exhibitions were always great. Lena could potentially get an EX from TAT, and if her choreo seems like a good fit, maybe she could do some competitive programs for her too...?

It's possible that she already has a deal with them. She is featured on their website.

She showed up in mine, and I was very happy

I just watched an interview she did (in English) and you guys, it was epic

I was really surprised she could speak English (good on ya, Elena!) and she did really well for her first time doing an English interview. I also watched a montage of her with a lot of quotes from her in it, and it was also great. I'm telling you, if you don't already love Elena, watch that montage and you will. It's here:

Just so we're clear....usually ads are based on where a person usually searches in the internets. Maybe you could search for Ballet a little less and focus on Lena a bit more ....
