She was a powerful skater. I remember seeing the videos of the battle of the Carmens. And how sad it was after her performance when she knew she had lost to Witt that well, it was back to med school - nothing to sniff at (I am not sure she realized she also lostthe silver medal to the brilliant star of the 88games Liz Manley).
