Dragon Trophy - Starting Orders/Results

Two competitions in one will take place between 7th and 10th February in Ljublana, Slovenia.

Tivoli Cup is an inter-club competition for pre-Novice skaters (Chicks, Cubs, Springs and Debs).

Dragon Trophy is an ISU-sanctioned international competition for Novice, Junior and Senior skaters.

Most of the skaters competing in the inter-club event are from the neighbouring Balkan countries and Austria. There's also several Brits, though.

There's a large Novice field with 3 boys and girls from Spain, which is great to see. :)

Quite a lot of Juniors too and there's 9 Senior Men and 14 Senior Ladies.

Both Grm and Glescic will be taking part here, possibly battling it out for the Worlds spot (provided either/both have the minimum score, can't recall now).

Now that the ISU have dropped the score for pairs, men & ladies, I don't know whether they have or haven't made the score any more, because I don't recall the new numbers.

Edited the results in, in the OP.

Spain has a Novice girl who can rotate a 2axel. Spanish skaters are 5th and 6th after the SP.

In Novice Boys, Spain has swept the podium!

Really excited about all the young Spanish skaters coming up. Who knows maybe Spain will soon become a skating powerhouse to rival Italy. :)

In Junior Ladies, more surprises. There's a Serbian skater (Sandra Ristojevic) with 2axel and a rotated 3loop! Spain's Elena Mangas did quite well too, landing 3salchow/2toe.

Raya leads Men SP after landing 3toe/3toe but a < on the 3axel and a singled flip.

Lafuente leads the Ladies SP (3flip step out, 3loop/2toe, 2axel)

Spain's Monica Gimeno landed 3toe/3toe (!!!) and 2axel but fell on the 3salchow to place 5th. Her TES was 23.79 so she now has the minimum SP score for Euros. :)

Well done Spain! :)

A disaster for Glescic who is last with falls on 3F< and 3Lo<. Grm landed 3toe/3toe but fell on the 3flip and singled the axel and was 3.5 points short of reaching the Worlds minimum score.

The skaters who still require the minimum score for Junior Worlds:

Arijana Tirak came nowhere reaching it in the SP.

Daniela Stoeva (BUL substitute came just 0.23 short).

Sandra Ristivojevic has quite comfortably earned hers.

Sandra Ristojevic was 5 points short of the minimum score in the FS and she won't be going to Worlds. :(

Not a single lady managed to meet the Junior Worlds FS score in fact (35 points and the winner Andermacher had 34.99).

Javier Raya has earned the score for Worlds!!! :)

He needed 60 and earned 61.36.

No Senior Lady managed to meet the minimum Worlds score.

Monica Gimeno has just managed to earn the Euros one (36 and she got 36.07) so she can become Spain's second entry next year. :)
