Why don't they do the same thing as during the GP and base the starting order on the world ranking?

You mean all skaters to go by ranking? And what about the ones they are not ranked yet?
I like the draw between groups, skaters not to skate always with the same order in their groups.

Upon creating this thread, I was in a hurry and only mentioned the link to Men's starting order on ISU website's 4CC starting orders/results page, and doris was very kind to edit my #1 post and added all names of skaters for me!
