    Interesting broadcast idea

I was watching Mao on Y.T. and saw this skate
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gKxgKLUVB1I
someone had put up the elements and their value in "real time" on the vid.
Dont know if I like it or not but it is interesting if you are trying to learn.

Definitely think it's clever, and very useful for the delayed playback we get in the US of short programs.

Yes -- if you want the official calls and GOEs, it couldn't be done in real time during a live broadcast but could be added after the fact for a tape-delayed broadcast.

Putting the calls somewhere on the screen where the graphic doesn't interfere with watching the program would be important, but also making it big enough and left up long enough for those who are interested to be able to read it in real time.

I would guess that serious fans who care about how the points are earned would be interested and most casual viewers wouldn't. But just knowing that that information exists and explains where each skater gained and lost technical points would be informative even for people who don't pay attention to the details.
