Karen, who is the director-general of training and learning with Canada Revenue Agency, and Cynthia, who lives in Quispamsis, N.B., and is a partner with the law firm Stewart McKelvey, are International Skating Union-accredited judges. They have reached the highest level of figure skating judging and are eligible for selection for all elite competitions, including world championships and Winter Olympics.
