I see your point, LRK. But I guess we've been spoiled by having two of the most incendiary leading men in English film history, Laurence Olivier and Colin Firth, portraying Darcy in other films. I should cut the others a bit of slack; they have a lot to live up to.

The poster wrote some commentary in both English and what looks like Portuguese. Look at the book's title in Portugese; isn't it beautiful? Orgulho & Preconceito. For me, it makes me see the title and its concepts in a whole new light.
