.62 less than she got at the Olympics and this was not at that level. She was let down by the TES today.

You're right. I was mixing up her Olympics SP component scores with her LP ones, which were higher (over 9.00 in 3 out of 5 categories).

I just hope this isn't the first competition where she leaves without a medal.

I honestly don't see this happening. She's just too good. Yes, ice is slippery but she'd have to have several big mistakes and everyone else skate lights out for this to happen.

I was responding to another poster who said Osmond was being held up and it had something to do with politiking. I actually liked Osmond's skate and think she deserved her scores and placement. I agree with your assessment of her potential final placements

Sorry. I was agreeing with you. I could have been clearer.:

I don't see why just because a Canadian gets a good score it has to do with politiking. I genuinely enjoyed Osmond's performance. Y.Kim felt a bit like a let down though still very lovely.

I would still consider Osmond as a dark horse for top 5 but top 10 is still a safer bet.

There are some anti-canadian posters on this board, every time a Canadian gets good scores, it's because of some sort of inflation. Canadians are evil and should never get good scores even when they skate clean!! Seriously, reading them, one would think that Skate Canada bought all the judges and technical specialists... I didn't think Skate Canada was that rich and powerful!!

She received almost 70 for her SP, and she seems to be doing better with her FS this season. But this Worlds keeps reminding me of 2013 Jr.Worlds.

Okay, Group 4 is on the ice. Gracie looked freaked out in the one shot they showed of her.

Fingers crossed...

Yuna's "tense" performance would only come into play for P/E and IN. She still has good skating skills and transitions. And choreography isn't really how the program is performance but just how it's laid out. So I say it's reasonable.

I'm fine with Osmond's score. However, I'm not sure if she can skate without any mistakes in FS.

LOL...just in case people missed it 10 minutes ago? Well not surprised....

I've always known that all they care about is whether Yuna beats everyone. Not surprised but I can't stand their ignorance and disrespect for this sport.

Why? We already had 2 excellent skates and there are still big guns to come.
People are too dramatic, she actually scored almost 70 which will probably be enough to win the SP with this tough panel.

:agree: Really liked them both, Yu-Na has a more difficult combo, better SS and is more mature in the IN, so she deservingly has a 5-points lead...
