Such beautiful skating. Alas, not to be.

Impressed by Suzuki's recovery after the rough start but she was really tense throughout and didn't show her usual spark. :/

A bit too high yeah. But you land a lot of high and impressive jumps > you get very high PCS. It shouldn't be like this but sadly that's how it works.

I'm with you on the about to cry part, and I think she was very lucky to have been able to hold the flip let alone add a combination. From the GP series, Akiko seems to know her program layout very well, if she could have put a combination somewhere I think she would have.

Nerves. Really a shame because the choreography of that program is one of the best of all the women's programs. The footwork section is gorgeous. Oh dear.
