Ugh, oh Javi! I am already resigned to the fact that Reynolds will be standing on that podium at the end of the evening.

Solid skate, but those two pops are still going to cost.

Javi had some brilliant moments but costly poppaloozas also. I think he's unlikely to get on the podium this year without help from his fellow skaters.

Why Amodio does 7 jump passes?

Fernandez, he lands the quads and misses the triples.

Three pops (well, I don't really count the triple toe on the combo a pop, but he did lose a triple out of it, so....)

Man, I was really thinking he'd win this event. Hopefully he can still make the top five. Still a great deal of content with the two quads.

Even though that wasn't the best performance jump-wise, I think I just became a fan of someone I only mildly liked before.

Whenever I watch Javier skate, I can't help but think that he skates to these sloppy/tipsy "character" programs like Chaplin and Pirates so that he can pass off his slips as choreographic nuances.

Oh god, I'm so nervous for Daisuke. I don't know if I really have the courage to watch him.

I would have loved to see Javi medalling with this Chaplin free skate. Too bad it won't become true although the judges were generous to him this time.

Nice comeback from Javier! Was that 4s after the halfway mark? I think it might have been, that should earn a giant chunk of distribution bonus marks.

On the other hand, I never want to see a Chaplin tribute in skating ever again.
