Very impressive names on her list of choreographers, I had no idea she is an American who decided to represent the country of her parents.

Good luck for a new season Nicole!

    Nicole says her name here:
Nicole Rajicova says her name in two recent ISU videos.

Her pronunciation is more clear in this one, IMO:

I spoke to Nicole 2 years ago and she is indeed a wonderful person. Very kind and friendly, but also funny. I believe I actually wrote about her in one of my columns, if I find it again I will re-post the article here.

About her SP 2013-2014 - Papa Can you Hear me

Wow! Thinking about her program is like thinking about your favorite moment in a movie that you saw in the cinema weeks ago. The way how she moves on the ice is just magical. Every piece of her body is performing, there is nothing mistimed or out of place - it just looked amazing!
She made the impression that it was her very last dance on the ice, so much passion in her performance - just stunning. Nicole also skated for everyone, she wanted everyone to have that moment with her.

I was very happy for Nicole, she was the only lady to skate a truly clean program and was rewarded with 116 points, her PB. She is steadily improving and I hope she has a great season. Going from last place to 7th overall was a great achievement for her!

(I also root for her b/c her hometown is about five minutes from where I grew up on Long Island)

Wow, 2 7th place finishes for her first GP season. Go Nicole!!!

As an aside, if she'd scored last year like she did today, she would have been 4th (!) at Europeans and 9th at Worlds. Here's to hoping she keeps skyrocketing up in the standings like she has the last few years! She was 25th in at Worlds in '14, 15th in '15, and a top 10 is totally possible this year.

I like her skating, very talented young lady. And I REALLY like her free program. So charming. Just think if she skates clean, she easily can receive ~65 TES. Although it would be nice to have 3-3 in Short.

I didn't even notice that a fanfest was started for Nicole. I became her fan last year during JGP. I liked that she did both the JWC and WC too. This girl has got nice jumps, especially the lutz, but her camel spin is one of my favorites with the amazing catch foot that she switches hands before taking the final pose. It reminds me of Jason Brown's.

She has a really nice presentation and I couldn't resist using lots of her footage for my JWC SP wrap up video last. In fact if you watch to the end of video you'll see her excited reaction to the scores which were her best ever in the SP.

Long story short...she rocks! I'll always be rooting for her.

Congrats to Nicole on her first GP season done so well. Pity about the mistakes in the long 2lo really hurt her but still a very solid debut! Hoping for greater things at Euro especially as it will be in her native Slovakia.

I made a short clip of Nicole's FS StepSeq the other day.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmnW3B97m5U

This is such a great moment in the program. It's nice to see a well thought out StSeq with purpose. I love this girl. She's my number 1 underdog
