Gachinski is an embarassment might as well retire,

Honestly? I don't know why you get your rocks off criticizing teenagers to this level. First you were harping on him because he hasn't landed a quad in a while, he goes out and lands not only a quad but a +GOE 3A and a 3Lz-2T and now you're moaning that he didn't score high enough, like every other skater is so perfect. He landed all of his jumps which hasn't happened in a long time so I'm going to be freaking happy for him, and I'm not going to quibble over his spin because he's hardly the first skater to muff a spin this season and he won't be the last.

I am very happy for him that he had a relatively good SP and can't wait to see what he throws down in the LP.

Radionova never ceases to amaze me with her consistency...how has she not burned out after all those competitions this season?

And yaay, clean short from Gosviani! And seems like Oba and Agafonova skated well too, landing 3Lo+3T and 3S+3T respectively (Agafonova singled the lutz, but was fine other than that).

And to add one note:Radionova received 1.40 GOE for her 3Lz+3T, and that is about high as Yuna's SP 3Lz+3T GOE at 2013 Worlds;)

I noticed also another small talent: the boy who's leading in the Advanced Novice category, Sota Yamamoto; he has a 15 points lead! When all the other boys in this competition are struggling to land the doubles, he landed 3Lz+2T and 3F! I think that 45 is a pretty high score for a Novice boy...

He did pretty well at junior nationals this season too, he qualified because he won novice nats and he finished in 4th after coming in 11th after the SP. He's definitely one to watch for Japanese men... he's better than Taichi Honda anyway >.>

Speaking of the Hondas though, Marin did great! She landed two clean lutzes.

Marin is not eligible until 2015-2016 season. Three years younger than Radionova.

Although only seven JGP spots are available, Sakamoto and Miahara may have better chances than Matsuda or Oba.

Does anyone know what the upload rate is for their results page? By my calculations (or the World Clock's) the Sr Men's event started about two hours ago...so shouldn't it be over by now?

Well.. with 210.15, Gachinski would've placed 15th at senior Worlds and 3rd at Jr.Worlds. At least that score is higher than Kovtun's at senior Worlds..

Gachinski: 4T (+GOE), 3A-2T (+), 3A (+), 3Lz, FCSp4, 3F(e) (-), StSq3, 3Lo (+), 2A-2A-SEQ (+), 1T (-), CSSp2, ChSt1, CCoSp3.

Again, not his best or his brightest, but he stood up! Did pretty much all his triples/quads except the 1T (which I assume is the second 4T?). Positive GOEs on all his jumps except the 3Lz (0s), the 3F (edge) and the 1T (popped). Not going to worry too much about his spins, there's plenty of time to sort those and they weren't the major problem. He got neutral or + GOE on them along with + on both step sequences. I am hopeful!

not able to do proper spin is usually an indication of back/spine problems
Mishin is already jumping ship to 13 year old Petrov

Most coaches have a few students, you know. :rolleye:

Though a back problem has been my suspicion with Artur for most of the season.

Petrov is originally coached by his wife Mishina and Oleg Tautarov
but Petrov is now partly coached by Mishin
