    Volosozhar and Trankov's 3T+3T

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gObNMbc-aLQ

It seems like Trankov made a YouTube account, and he posted a video of Volosozhar's 3T+3T. If they can land 3T+3T at competitions consistently, I think it just makes chances of V/T winning OGM in Sochi higher.. What is your opinion?

Are you kidding? Pairs skaters who can both execute a triple-triple? Even if they're not synchronized when they land, that would be gigantically impressive. Wow. If that was all they could do, they might podium. But since that's just one of their skills, they could certainly make the earth move.

    Volosozhar's 3T-3T is better than Leonova's

A sbs 3-3 would be something incredible: the first ever, I believe! Her 3T+3T is better than the ones that most of the Ladies landed at the recent competitions!
But, remember that Zhang/Zhang landed a lot of clean 2A+3T and I think that they were planning a 3T+3T last season, but never landed one...

Hee. Not only is the 3T/3T impressive, but I think it's cute how he "liked" a video of their 2012 FS with the standing ovation. Skaters, they're just like us--looking at videos of their performances on Youtube and liking/favoriting.

It's of course great if V-T can do 3T-3T in Sochi but their chances of winning are high anyway. Aliona&Robin already did 3T-3T in Zagreb but didn't place higher than silver. http://www.isuresults.com/results/ec..._FS_Scores.pdf

S/S do a 3T-3T sequence, which gets the 80% penalty for being a sequence. A 3T-3T combo without the steps in between would have a base value of 8.20, a 1.64 advantage over Aliona and Robin.

Wow, very impressive... I don't know if Maxim himself is capable of one or not, but go Aliona.

The Zhangs' 2A-3T is still the most impressive SBS jumps (especially when she landed it right after than nasty fall in 2006). D/R's SBS 3Z jumps are also incredibly impressive but for a female pairs skater to hit XX-3T cleanly is pretty remarkable. Duhamel was also consistently landing 2A-3T herself before switching to pairs.

Yeah, Tatiana can do one, but can Maxim?
