Icenut - At least we agree to disagree and that is playing the board correctly.

Sometimes I write a bit too tersely, but dragging up the Hoffman thing again when the main topic was Dortmund 1964 and 1980 which had nothing to do with Baiul/Kerrigan decision. got me a little riled. I would have liked to have read more about the Tale of Two Dortmunds.

I am with you on Baiul's artistry and subjectively, there is no contest among fans and judges (to each his own), when it comes to enjoying one skater more than another, but Technically I found she was credited much much too high in the technical. That is the opinion of me and many others.as seeing her technical scores as justified It seems to me that fans and judges see double foot jumps ok with some skaters and not with others.

It's nice having Oksana back in the Exhibition skating double foot jumps and all. I do enjoy her skating.

But Joe, you forget the fact that the judges then did NOT have instant replay. It's easy to say today "the jump was 2-footed", but you have to take in account that the judge may have missed it. If the did not see it because there was no instant replay, what were they to do? Hindsight is always 20/20. On her jumps, I think she had gorgeous jumps. I think it's highley unfair of you to judge her jumps in the LP when she was injured, and today when she was off the ice for 2 years.

Either way though, the skaters today would kill for the 2axel Oksana had in 94.
