    Skater-specific documentaries (2011-2012 and 2012-2013 seasons)

Been spending a lot of time on YouTube lately. I like finding these little treasures.

All videos have english subtitles, with the exception of the Patrick Chan documentary (which is in English).

Patrick Chan: Team Behind the Scenes (2011-2012 season - 23 min, 23 sec) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKBUMs9kkk8

Daisuke Takahashi: Nikkei Fan Interviews (2011-2012 season - ~ 1 hour total)
    1. Part 1 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vepp1NwplA

    6. Part 6 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4rnfXwFg_o

Daisuke Takahashi: Gladiolus (2012-2013 season - ~ 1 hour total)

    2. Part 2 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTnxaCgaI40
    3. Part 3 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=262_jgs_pOU
    4. Part 4 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEcaRl2e-c0

    Yuna Kim: Another Challenge (2012-2013 season - 55 min, 37 sec) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nO74wiYBfwM

*** Much credit much be given to the coaches and parents of all skaters. (And obviously to the skaters themselves.)

Thanks for sharing this with us! I watched the Yuna documentary shortly after it was released and was incredibly touched by the Korean media's admiration of her.

The one about Patrick was interesting as well. He speaks like such a down-to-earth guy that it's hard to believe he actually made some of his more controversial comments. My guess is that he's still awkward and uncomfortable dealing with the press, especially after a disaster such as 2013 Worlds.

Interviewer: What's it like being a sex symbol?
PChan: A sex symbol? [Laughs] ...I don't really know what that means.

Wow! Thanks, aftertherain, for doing all that labor for us so we can head right to the videos.

Here's a great, short documentary (in English) about Yuna: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Z9o_c2qC2I
