    Freeskating Results: http://fsrussia.ru/upl/results/1314/1etap/SEG012.HTM

    Sotnikova FS: 124.55 TES 60.35 PCS 65.20 total = 192.46
No 3-3 Bonus ( probably another underrotation on her 3Lz-3Lo ) and 1 Fall

a bit too inflated she'll probably score around 174 - 178 total in international results

Found this old video of Gosviani's assassin's tango SP a few years ago. That was really awesome. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jq3B8Rziyc

This is a far better program musically than last year's LP, although she does seem to have some technical problems at this point. Hopefully her jumps will improve as she gets more comfortable with the choreography. I must say that, outside the top 3, there isn't a skater who performs more beautifully than Adelina. She interprets music so well.

It is better musically than last year. Both SP and LP I think. But the technical problems will take her down if she doesn't move to stuff she can handle better. I don't think comfort with a choreography is a problem.

also needs to think twice about that 3flz-3lo before the international competition starts, that will never be ratified

her PCS will improve this season, good programs , footworks and transitions, no way will Tuk come close to her PCS
but same technique overhaul problems, Flip and now its 3Flz-2.5Lo instead of another 3Flz/3T- UR triple

Ouch what happened to Agafonova?? 128 at an inflated Russian comp? Must have had a nightmare of a FS, I like her, so it makes me sad, I was hoping this season she would finally get assigned to some senior international competitions (most likely senior Bs, but better than nothing) however it looks like that won't happen now .

Anyways, not a terrific score for Gosviani but not a meltdown, it seems as if she is at least retaining her form from last season, which is actually good news because we have seen what happened to Biryukova, Korobeynikova, Shelepen, Ovcharova, etc. among others over the course of a couple seasons. Never even heard of the girls in 2nd and 3rd, Russia really is a ladies skating factory!!

The second place girl is a total unknown. Last year at this competition in Perm she was 11th and about 40-50 points lower. So she improved a lot!!!
Artemieva has been around for a while. She's 20, skates in Rukavitsyn's group and is also Menshov's girlfriend!! Not a lot of success because she is inconsistent and I believe she was injured last year.

As for Agafonova, she got senior Bs last year and if she can improve over the Russian grand prix she can get one of the later senior Bs either this year or spring of next year. Her test skate 3wks ago was much better than this. They included her on the reserve team even when she didn't make either senior or junior nationals so they still believe in her.

I hope there will be someone with insight and access who can provide real play by play of the ladies' event at Russian nationals. That is going to be ONE TOUGH EVENT emotionally, psychologically. It will be Kiss and CRY!

I understand that in some Russian domestic competitions, there are bonus points awarded if the ladies do a 3-3 combo (I don't know if it applies to the men or if there is a different bonus for the guys).
