Max Aaron and Gracie Gold apparently were on TBS tonight (Nov 6) with comedian Pete Holmes.
@PeteHolmesShow had tweeted this "sneak peek" YT video (3:45). (ETA: Seems that the vid is the entirety of the segment that aired with the skaters. I think the "sneak peek" description means that it is a sneak peek at the entire episode of the show.)
Pete Skates With And Casually Threatens Gracie Gold & Max Aaron
Published on Nov 6, 2013
Sneak Peek: Olympic hopefuls Gracie Gold and Max Aaron teach Pete to ice skate, and Pete returns the favor by threatening to murder them. Watch "The Pete Holmes Show" weeknights at midnight, after Conan on TBS.
Tip o' the hat to fenway2 for her/his post on FSU that mentioned Max's appearance.
BTW, a few weeks ago, many skaters made separate mentions of tapings with Holmes at the USOC media summit, so presumably more skating stuff will be coming up on his air.
IMHO, Max saves this segment by playing along with and enjoying the comedic schtick without displaying excessively cheesy hamminess that becomes intolerable. Wish I could say the same for the other two .
Caveat: In the video, Holmes (but not the skaters) uses crude language freely. Not all of it is bleeped out.

Video of Skate for Hope 10th Anniversary - posted 11/13/13
http://web.icenetwork.com/video/v31219763 (01:03:33 in length)
- An IN subscription is NOT necessary to view the hour-long vid of this summer show. I have not had a chance to watch it yet, but ....
- IIRC from still photos of the event, Max performed some ice dancing with Piper Gilles as well as some pairs skating with Ashley Wagner -- in addition to the group numbers and his singles skating, I assume.
ETA, starting at approx 00:45:00, Max is in full showman mode for his singles ex.
ETA, this shorter promo vid for the Skate for Hope cause does show a momentary glimpse of Max performing a lift with Ashley.
We apologize, but at this time, Vimeo links are not accepted. There is a conflict with Tapatalk that enables Vimeo links to become embedded. This in turn causes slower page downloads.(5:44 in total length)
IN photos from NHK:
- Max mid-spin during his SP.
- Max with Coach Tom Z in the kiss and cry post-SP.
(No Max FS photos on IN, AFAIK.)

@USFigureSkating tweeted the vid to promote this year's Sectionals, which are taking place this week.
Speaking of which ... best to Maddie Aaron/Max Settlage, who are competing in Junior Pairs at Mids.

A few fun (and new-to-me) bits about Max are buried in the captions of the photo gallery published by NBC on Oct 15. Examples:
- Aaron is a big fan of Mexican food and cooking at home. He comes up with different marinades and says he sometimes "makes a mess out of the kitchen."
- Aaron is an avid golfter [sic] (he has a handicap of 20) and also enjoys water-skiing, wakeboarding, tubing and mountain biking.
- Aaron, who loves to do Bikram yoga, used to ski to the rink he would skate at in Wyoming when his family was on vacation.
And this quote is lovely:
- Aaron has a close relationship with his parents: "It’s a special moment to have my parents by my side whether I win or lose."

In October, The Skating Lesson started a series of evergreen videos under the umbrella title, "Breaking Down the IJS."
In at least two of the vids -- the ones on Transitions and Skating Skills -- Max is among the skaters discussed.
(GS does not allow posting of TSL links. Look for the series title on the drop-down menu at the "2013-2014 Season" tab on the TSL home page.)

ETA, perspective from Coach Tom Z on Max's GP season (excerpt from a longer post-Rostelecom Facebook post that includes TZ's thoughts re Zawadzki as well):
As I sit here in Moscow's DME airport, I feel so privileged to have coached at four Grand Prix events this season for many reasons.
The first being that to attend the competitions with such talented athletes as Max Aaron and Agnes Zawadzki is truly a blessing and a coach's dream.
To witness Max train like a beast at home and take such huge athletic and artistic risks in his Grand Prix debut makes me proud. While I know he carried a lot of expectations on his shoulders and in many people's eyes he did not live up to the hype, he did in mine. Instead of resting on his laurels and falling into the trap many elite skaters do and just trying to "skate clean," he "failed upwards" (see the book, The Talent Code) and in the process showed all the young skaters around the world that it is ok to make mistakes and to never stop reaching until you are the very best. Carry on, Max!
Max is one of the American men in this video (undated, but it is new to me):
Mastering the quad
One jump, four rotations, land it on a quarter inch blade of steel: "The Quad" is the gold standard in men's figure skating. Top Americans break down the jump.

ETA, forgot to say: Look forward to any of your notes and pics that you would like to share here. Thanks.
(Wish that I could take you up on your friendly invitation, but I am many states away.)
Always fun to pick Max out of a wide shot , such as this one backstage at Disson's "Tribute to American Legends" show. Hope that Max had the honor of spending some quality time with each one of the legends.
ETA, shallow (forgive me) thought: Is it me, or do Max's lush curls look less abundant in this close-up from the event? No matter, as he obviously is a happy camper.
