I have big problems with my eyes this is the explanation that I am are empathetic with myopic Jason.
But these his new glasses ... a fashion that lasted only a year :( (Jeremy Abbott weared them only for a week for press conferences Sochi) When old glasses were functional and original, and were part of the unique style of Jason. They new are a kind of fashion fugitive :(
Perhaps tips of the new manager?

OK, if they are the glasses that Jason held in the car to drive, they are fine. Each myopic person has more glasses that holds near the computer, the television screen or in the car. But if this would be the new look of Jason: I do not like the style.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree on this! :)

I, too, have bad vision and have worn glasses my whole life. Its really important to me that my glasses flatter me and suit my own personal sense of style, but I don't really care much if they are in or out of fashion. I can't tell 100% if Jason 's new glasses are flattering - time & other pictures will tell. I also don't think he has a strong sense of personal style yet like Adam Rippon, Ashley Wagner and Misha Ge do, for instance, so it's hard to use that to evaluate them as a good or bad choice. He's still such a kid. That said, I really didn't like the old glasses. He's actually good looking in a very unique way, and I've always thought the old glasses detracted from his appearance rather than enhanced it.

I'm with you! I did not care for his old glasses, personally.

I agree that Jason doesn't quite have a sense of personal style -- and maybe that's not his thing (it's not for most guys) -- but there are certain things he wore that I liked: The suit he's worn for a few gala events (and the Divergent premiere) and whatever pair of jeans he wore to his Russian fan meeting (https://yadi.sk/d/L-upHrT9co3Tt/DSC_0798.JPG) -- mainly the color, but I think the cut is flattering.

Actually, since the majority of the time his photos are of him at the rink -- he's in Team USA gear and training gear -- I have no idea what he usually wears when he's not training, LOL. He doesn't post photos of his outfits like Misha does, ha.

I have to agree with you-- they seem too strong for his face. When I look at him now, the first thing I see are his glasses. Before, with his old glasses, I noticed his whole face and did not really zero in on the glasses.

Oh, I like them. I think they balance out his face beautifully, and make it look softer and less angular. Very handsome. On Jeremy they looked sort of goofy, but of course he has a differently-shaped face.

I hope that they are the glasses only to drive.... they are practical big because you must also see the road and also the dashboard. Jason usually takes off his glasses before photo. And I understand it very well. I have always felt my glasses as something very disturbing for my freedom. When I was young I was wearing the contact lenses.

I really like the style of Jason. Yes, very sporty and comfortable, without exaggeration. Makes me think, for him it is more important the comfort, the activity that he does, not the clothes that he is wearing. (He travel much, got to do a few clothes in the suitcase.) And that black suit with white shirt and black tie: is a gem! Poprio because very simple does enhance the personality of Jason. He is very characteristic, doesn't need ti fancy wears ... He would be much more characteristic with more curls
The photos are beautiful, congratulations to the photographer! Apropos: what is that bracelet thin black that J. is wearing?

I think he looks great here:

So maybe it's an exaggeration to say that he doesn't have a sense of personal style yet. And I agree with you & Mrs. P that he looks great in that suit.

But I still don't like the old glasses! ;)

I like the jeans in photo two!

I've concluded he probably would do fine in a UNIQLO store (Japanese clothing brand; they've opened a few stores in the U.S., though nowhere near where Jason is now): http://www.uniqlo.com/us/men/bottoms/jeans.html

The store is known for high-quality, nice looking basics but nothing too wild.

FWIW, not everyone needs to have a highly-defined personal style. I guess my point (and your point, papagena) is that perhaps it's not pronounced. That's different than saying he doesn't have a sense of personal style -- just that it's not precisely define or pronounced. Certainly my personal style has evolved and been clarified over the last few years.

ETA: That's also different than saying he doesn't look good. Generally he looks good. :)

Yes I agree, my style has really changed too. When I was 19 and for quite a while thereafter, I used to buy beautiful clothes without realizing that they didn't fit properly or simply didn't flatter me; thankfully, I eventually learned better. I think it really takes time for most of us to learn who we are, what we like, and trust our own choices - not just with respect to clothes, but with more important things. When I hear Jason-who is already a marvelous interpretive artist in many ways-say that each new program Rohene choreographs for him brings out something he didn't know was inside of him, it's clear that he's just beginning this process. I am so interested to watch how he grows.

On a more shallow note, I also really like those jeans.

(I think he wore the hat before the photo). Apropos fashion: I think that "wears" coolest Jason are: his intelligence and humanism (or Sense and sensibility. which are seen in his eyes), his posture and movement fantastic and his amazing hair :). He isn't in need of clothes extravagant to be cool. 
A bit of criticism. I think he had a very good (anonym) ballet (dance) teacher in Highland Park. But when Kori's Team moved to Colorado Springs, this teacher don't followed them. I notice a big drop in artristry in the last 1.5 years ... (from the point of view of ballet and dance)

Thank you Ronald McDonald House Chicago for opening up your home to me last night. It was such a privilege meeting all the incredible families who are staying there. Their stories of courage, strength, and hope inspired & touched my heart more than I could ever express. Thank you everyone who helped donate stuffed animals & contributed to such an amazing cause. It was a true honor to deliver them on behalf of all of you!! The kids faces all lit up when they got to choose their favorite :) Looking forward to continuing my partnership with RMHCharities & I already can't wait to come back and visit the home in Chicago the next time I'm back in town!! @rmhccni

Those pictures of him with the kids are great, but at the same time, he radiates so much health & optimism that the contrast with those frail, perhaps desperately ill kids, is also heartbreaking.

Very much! Those curls are survivors from the gel :) If you not use the gel and leave them as they are, soon or later they return to normal curls!

Okay, I can see I'll never sway your opinion, so instead I'll teach you some American slang. Do you ever have days where you try and try to fix your hair but you can't get it to look good and finally you just give up and leave the house? We call that a bad hair day.

Jason is having a really, really bad hair day in this picture.

Either that, or he's just been electrocuted.

Just kidding, of course. :)

So, could you give an example?

I'm no expert, but I thought his programs last year (eg Riverdance & Prince) were excellent from a dance / movement point of view, although neither one was at all balletic. I'm not sure what I think about this year's programs, but again, neither one was intended to be balletic.

At Rostelcom, his usual beautiful line & commitment to every move was missing & his energy was low, but I assumed that was due to the fact that it had been a difficult week, and perhaps also because both programs are still relatively new.

Where do you see the drop off in his artistry?

I think actually it's just that he doesn't gel his hair for practice, and it's gone frizzy from constant movement and sweat. My hair does something similar when I am skating, though I do nothing like what he does!
