It has nothing to do with being muscular, udmurt, etc. Why do you think that many skaters who came back after a retirement period are losing weight? Because even if they are very fit for normal people they clearly weight more that it is supposed to. IMO Liza's skating changed and IMO it is because of the weight. If weight isn't affecting her skating and her health at all, well, she can have 100000 pounds, I don't care because it is not a beauty contest.
You can tell that Tukt has belly fat? I'm sorry, but I don't see it. She looks perfectly fit to me; she's short and has very muscular legs, which make her look undeniably broader. And that's fine. Not every skater can be the reedy, long-legged type. Just look at Harding versus Baiul, or Ito versus Kerrigan. Or, to use a gymnastics example, Nastia Liukin versus Shawn Johnson.

There's a BIG difference between losing weight and getting into shape. You can eat less to lose weight, but getting in shape requires a lot more intensive resistance training (and more carb and protein-based calories in the diet). Returning elite skaters have to get back in shape, and they do so by regaining muscle mass, which weighs more than fat anyway. The point here is that until Tukt decides to publicize her weight, we can't simply "assume" that she needs to lose ten or twenty pounds in order to be a better skater.

Admittedly, I'm not the biggest Jeremy fan, but I can't wait to see this!

I agree. This is exactly the type of program that highlights her strengths. Some of her programs, particularly under TT, really missed the mark.

I wonder if the Lewis/Bye info was entered on Icenetwork in error -- since that second selection is Jeremy Ten's SP music, and the article about Lewis/Bye said they were using "Hava Nagilah" in addition to the Schindler's List selection.

    Oh...Libertango...hmm...

*trots off to Youtube to have a listen*

Hmm! Could be a very good step for him. Certainly different to his other programs.

It would be odd if it were mixed up with Jeremy Ten's info, since his bio update is not on IN. But yes, what we previously had for Lewis & Bye included Hava Nagilah

Max Aaron's music info has also been updated.

SP Music: "Historia de un Amor" by Perez Prado
FS Music: Music from Carmen performed by Rodion Shchedrin and the Boston Pops Orchestra

A quick Youtube search yielded me this link for the SP music.

I don't know how I feel about his SP music choice, as following in the footsteps of Dai may be a tall challenge. Although, I believe that Pasquale will be able to bring out the best in him.

Well, these are two choices that don't really look wonderful to me, but I wait to see the programs...

I will trust Tom Dickson. He's really good at creating pieces that are suspenseful and dramatic.
