Skating "fluff" pieces: US & World

The fluff pieces that show people baking cookies, etc. are boring, even if they feature my favorite skater. I do enjoy the ones that review someone's career or show how a program was choreographed. In other words, if it actually involves skating, then it's worth it.

C'mon it's a marketing ploy. The fluff is to keep the casual viewer interested in coming back again. The more people they get to watch the skating programs the easier it is to get sponsors or raise the fee for the present sponsors.

The sponsors know how to make money and that's what this is all about. I agree, however, they could make it a little more interessting for fans as well as newcomers to the sport.
