Thanks for the info Alba that is good to know, going back to basics might be a good change. The photos he posted on his twitter were kinda scary... I think he still has problems with his feet
Thanks for the replies I was just thinking that maybe he needs to show the judges he can jump after all and I really think he can, his jumps are gorgeous and his artistry is far better that Kovtun's
I really hope he can make a comeback,it makes me sad to think how good he skated at those WC:scowl:
Anyway I will cheer for him!!!
Once the head is sorted, Artur's jumps will never be a problem. Heck, they weren't even the worst of his problems before. The only jump he really struggled with was the quad and that was mental more than anything.
Tarasova knows she's been handed a golden opportunity. She doesn't have to touch the jumps, which gives her the freedom to work on everything else with him.
I can't wait to see him! I'm getting chills just thinking about it!
There was a new interview with Artur published today...I had to use Google Translate. He said that his new LP is Rachmaninoff's "Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini," and he has plans to skate at the Nebelhorn Trophy, Finlandia Trophy, and Cup of Nice. So we won't have to wait much longer to see it. Of course he also talks about the coaching change and skating with Kovtun, among other things. I'd copy/paste, but it's quite long and the translations always look like a mess. He sounds very excited to compete and I hope the changes have all been for the best.
I don't know what happened between him and Mishin, but it must be very sad. I don't know why... I don't think Mishin had ever casted him aside. Thanks to TAHbKA for the translation, here is an interesting interview with Artur.

"Frankly, it's about me as well - now I overlooked my attitude to work, to my goals and take things differently. It's obvious when you are seeing the situation from above, but once you are part of it - you understand you have to work much harder than you thought."
Plenty! I remember some really cool practices, I remember landing my first quad, landing my first 3A on my 13th birthday. Alexey Nikolaevich and I achieved it together. It was in St. Petersburg I landed my 4loop, 4S and even a 4lz.
