Too bad for the last spin. It looked so difficult but she was running out of time. It received inly level 2. I think Nikol lost at least one point here. I find it weird that she received an edge deduction for her flip (she never received it last season) and not for the lutz. Can anyone explain the deduction for the lutz? And also for the combo? I think it is too much -1.40 only for the edge, or maybe it is not?
I see Haruka is better in PCS than Nikol. I think they are at least the same. I hope Nikol makes a name faster because it is not fair to be held back on PCS just because she is not as well known as the other russian girls. There is no comparison between her and Liza in terms of PCS.

Her SP is from 2011-2012 season. The liked the simple choreography of the old one more but the new one is more complex and more COP friendly I guess. Too bad she couldn't replicate her 3S-3T from the warmup.

Stream for Men's SP has just started.
It's actually on the same page ( http://live.huste.tv/stream/03-10-13-z-ondrej-nepela-trophy-2013 ) as the Ladies SP. So, when you go onto the page, it'll automatically start playing Nikol Gosviani. (Funny how they edited out the shambles that was the filming of Viktoria Helgesson's routine...)
But, to the right of the video screen is a menu. Click on the middle button (labelled "Ondrej Nepela Trophy Muži - krátky program Krasokorčuľovanie /") for the Men's SP.

My favorite was Haruka. There is something very special about her skating and IMO she is the one who was underscored in PCS.
Nicol skated very well and I am happy about her because I like her but there is something awkward about her jumps, they don't look right to me even when she does them. Still, a brave effort to put the lutz in the second half of the program and glad to see no "e" on it. The "e" on the flip must be a fluke.
Too bad about Christina's fall, she would probably be first otherwise.
Good luck to the ladies in the LP and I hope Haruka wins!
