Correction to Evan Lysacek -- his combo was a 3z turns 3t not a 2t.

Apparently, his presentation marks and anoynomous judging saved him.

    Thanks for the report, Rosaleen!

I'm glad to hear that Ryan Jahnke is landing his triple axel, though it sounds like he needs greater security on the landings yet. He, Eman, Jeff and Evan are all in a great position to medal.

Many, many thanks for the reports!!!

WOW, happy for Jeffrey Buttle... I wonder if he succeeds in the freeskate also, would he have a chance of participating in Worlds? Especially if Ben Ferreira would be not so high in result? Not that I wish that to Ferreira, have seen his skating a few times in Finlandia Trophy.

    Nice pic of Jeff!

Thanks for all these detailed reports, Rosaline. Let's hope the men's free is better skated.

Well that looks interesting. Not a well-skated event. All the top guys tried the quad and splatted it sounds like - I hope that's not indicative of what we can expect at worlds. On the other hand I'm thrilled for Jeff and Emmanuel who are in a great position to medal - particularly Jeff as this is his last competition of this season. I want him to go out with a bang. Let Emmanuel peak at worlds.

Apparently Japan is giving us another top male skater in Yamato Tamara. Poor Takeshi with all his injuries. Hope he does well in Worlds.

I presume Japan can send two male skaters to Worlds. Am I correct?

Oh, ye, it ain't over thill it's over. Lysacek can still get on the podium. Let's see.

Rosaleen, you didn't note Jeff's axel jump in your notes. I assume a triple?

Also, what did you and those you are with think of the placements (1-5)?

    Thanks for the information!
