Joshi broke her leg and won't be competing I think. Hopefully she'll be able to compete in her GP event in Beijing. Bad luck :( The Helgesson sisters are adorable.

Yeah, too bad (especially for us fans as there will be live streaming).

According to the updated entry list, the most notable names are:

    Ladies
    Valentina Marchei ITA
    Sarah Hecken GER
    Gerli Liinamae EST
    Anais Ventard FRA

    Mens
    Ellajd Balde CAN
    Alexander Majorov SWE
    Christopher Caluza PHI

    Pairs
    Mari Vartmann/Aaron van Cleave GER
    Annabelle Prolss/Ruben Blommaert GER
    Nicole Della Monica/Matteo Guarise ITA
    Katarina Gerboldt/Aleksandr Enbert RUS
    Anastasia Martyusheva/Alexey Rogonov RUS
Meylin Wende (nee Hausch)/Daniel Wende GER
    Stefania Berton/Ondrej Hotarek ITA
    Narumi Takahashi/Ryuichi Kihara JPN

The pairs event quite crowded with talent compared to the rest of the fields. Favorites are probably Berton/Hotarek

Jason Dungjen is so charming and good looking! He doesn't show his age at all). I loved Reina, she skated so beautifully, very nice spins and good choreo (Yuka's). But the jumps... At least she looked much better than last year at 4CC. I cab't remember if she went to worlds also.Anyway at 4CC she didn't qualify for the LP and I really wanted to see it. I am looking forward to see it here and i hope she can qualify for the olympics. I was impressed by Jason travelling to Europe for her
    Now, go Fleur!

    Did Fleur withdraw?:(
Nice skating from Kat and Carol. Carol's long legs and hands reminds me of Carolina.

You are right, how could I forgot that. Jason came mainly for Valentina. I hope the italian fed will think about sending some other skaters to Jason and Yuka, especially after Valentina retires, like Carol B who looks promising and Yuka could do wonders with her because she is an artistic skater.

Valentina Marchei just skated wearing a white dress w/ silver sparkles on her sleeves and back. Didn't regognize the music. Elements were:

    3S - nice
    3Lz - fall, no combo
    FSSp
    2A
    LSp
    StSq
    CCoSp

    SP score: 27.03+28.60-1.00 = 54.63, 1st for now

That was a very high score for a SP with no combo. No wonder why Senior B scores dont count for the Season Best list.
