Good job, Na-Hyun! Seems like she skated well.

The current leader Sotskova is 13! Looks way mature for her age, strong skating, presentation and jumps!

Medvedeva was probably hit with some "<" or "e", her TES is low. I thought I was going to like her more. I am not sure if her SP is the right vehicle for her.
Sotskova on the other hand was sublime. Really glad she kept her SP. She does look mature and polished for a 13 year old. This is a very, very competitive JGP. Can't wait to see Karen Chen and the 2 Japanese ladies. Medvedeva might have to do some catching up in the LP

I think her CCoSp (combo spin) was probable knocked out because her sit position on the first half is debatable as to if she low enough. The positions on the second half of the spin are considered an upright forward and intermediate and therefore doesn't get credit for the spin because she hasn't achieve all 3 basic positions. A combo spin with level 4 is 3.5 then add positive GOE to that is the 4 points she is missing to be up with Sotskova. I think they might have been a bit harsh if I am correct but it is understandable as long as they keep the same standard for all skaters at this event.

Thank you for the detailed explication! If that's the case, the score is more than understandable. I am still not ok with the fact that she beat Sotskova on PCS though

Haha I was surprised that she got higher in components in total, but when you break it down again it makes sense in my mind.

Sotskova got higher skating skills and transitions but lower in the other 3. Which I agree with because I thought Sotskova has better actual skating skills and had much better flow than Medvedeva. But I found her boring and lacked in performance value and actual musical expression therefore I enjoyed Medvedeva more and thought she deserved higher components in for her IN, PE and CH.
