What happened to Valeria Evseeva? I really liked her last season.
Valeria Evseeva did not compete after October 2013, she leaved her skating club CSKA, maybe she stopped skating.

At Moscow qualifiers to Russian Nationals Elder Age was other girl (also born at 1st half 2002, also CSKA) - Avgusta Evseeva. Her level is much lower than Valeria Evseeva.

We see Samarin landed 3A in SP fine and in FS not so good (probably step out).

Viedos made by amateur, who had no time to see all the competition, sio if no video of skater there - no video at all.

I know it is somewhere explained but I can't find it. I am still confused about the system of Russian nationals. There are the senior nationals that take place around Christmas and they call them Чемпионат России, then they have junior nationals (I think in January or February) called Первенство России. This is still easy to understand.

Then they have some nationals that are in March called Первенство России - младший возраст (younger age) that actually have 2 age categories - the older ones (born 2001-2002) and the younger ones (born 2003 and younger), and another Russian championships in April Первенство России - старший возраст (older age). So if the older age is (maybe?) equivalent to novice, what level would be the championships in March (the younger age)? Or if the younger age championship is equivalent to novice category, why is there still subcategory of championships older age?

Why would Proklova want to compete at Russian nationals older age, if she was 4th in senior nationals and 3rd in juniors? Surely Elder age nationals are far below her skills, so the medal would not mean much for her. I know she is eligible, based on age, but Yuna Kim and Mao Asada were also eligible to compete at junior worlds the year they won senior championships...

As I understand Jr Nats = best jr skaters (wherever they live).
"another Russian championships in April Первенство России - старший возраст (older age)" is also jr competition, but has similar qualification system as U.S. Championships (best jr skaters of their regions)

Not so far below her skills.
Past season (2013) medalists of Nats Elder Age were Medvedeva and Sotskova - 3 and 4 places of JrNats. This season they are JGP Final Medalists.
At 2012 medalists of Nats Elder Age were Medvedeva and Pogorilaya.
At 2011 medalist of Nats Elder Age was Korobeynikova - at season 2011/2012 medal of JGP Final and 4th place at Euro.

We see, high-level skaters also take place in this competitions.

That's different though. Korobeynikova competed at Nats Elder Age in 2011 and then the following season 2011-12 she got to JGPF and Europeans. So she didn't know she would make such a progress.
Same about Medvedeva and Pogorilaya in 2012 - neither of them even competed at junior grand prix at that time.
In 2013 Medvedeva and Sotskova - also neither of them competed at JGP event yet. Whereas in 2014 you clearly have Proklova who not only competed but even qualified to JGPF, was 4th in senior nationals (nationals that are 2 levels higher, not just junior nationals), so that seems to me a bit step back.

If it is so mixed between junior nationals and the nationals of Elder age, then what's the point of the nationals for elder age? Medvedeva, Sakhanovich, Sotskova, Proklova, Radionova, Lipnitskaya, Pogorilaya are all still eligible, so if all of them decided to go there, it will be only another replay of junior nationals. And if they consider that they shouldn't be there, why does Proklova think she should be there?

Proklova had not JrWorlds, only because too many high-level girls in Russia (Medvedeva and Proklova are of same level).

And I believe Proklova's coach solved that she needs other competition.

That's understandable. But why another competition would be nationals that are 2 levels lower than she skates at is beyond me. Send her to some international competition, to get experience with competing against skaters she doesn't know, to cope with the pressure and win and the medal will actually mean more to her. Competing against kids she has beaten the whole season in nationals where the medal is hers before she even got on the ice because she can beat them very easily, I can't see how this is helping. There is no pressure for her, so it is not giving her anything (except of one extra medal).

Wow, Tutberidze is Tsurkaya's coach!! (now I understand a lot of things ;) )

So this season it was Lipnitskaya - 2nd at senior nationals (coach Tutberidze) against Radionova 3rd at senior nationals (coach Goncharenko). Both ladies have been pretty consistent throughout the season.

On junior level it was Medvedeva (coach Tutberidze) against Proklova (coach Goncharenko). These two are quite evenly matched. Sometimes one is on top, sometimes the other one. (Medvedeva was better at her JGP events and JGP final, Proklova placed better at both junior and senior nationals. Proklova has higher season best, but only 2 points higher).

And now we have even lower level (something like novice?) Tsurskaya (first after SP at elder age nationals, coach Tutberidze) against Bezrukova (second after SP at elder age nationals, coach Goncharenko). They also seem to be Matched quite evenly. Bezrukova was winning after the elements part of the competition, now Tsurskaya is winning after SP. They are currently only 1.5 point apart, and after them there is a big gap (7 points). They are born on the same year and month, so they will become eligible at the same time (junior eligible season 2015-2016).

It seems to be that Goncharenko and Tutberidze must be thinking of each other pretty frequently, considering that their girls are always on top of the age group and competing against each other.

Tsurskaya has molasses skating skills, forget her

Gubanova and Naugumova are better bets for 2022 Olympics

I think you are a bit ahead of yourself. There is so many very talented young ladies, that we don't even know whether Gubanova and Nugumanova will make the team. If someone told me 2 years ago that Tuktamysheva will not compete in Sochi, I wouldn't believe it.

Alex, can you explain how the 'elements' part of the competition works? Do they do any jump, any combination, any spin, and their step sequence? Is it within a program, or do they just do the jump without music?
