Jason Brown is visually slower than the Japanese.

It seems to have disappeared for no apparent reason.

It disappeared. It was a good idea, so of course it disappeared.

    Takahiko KOZUKA (JPN)

Music: Unsquare Dance by Dave Brubeck

Black costume w/ vest (only white in front)

4T - twofooted, swinging free leg
    3A - very nice
CCoSp - small wobble on camel
3Lz - stepout, hand down, no combo
    CCSp
    ...feed chopping a lot...
    StSq
    ...feed stopped for me

That lost combo is going to cost

    SP: 38.15+39.60 = 77.75

Taka quad was saved and possibly two footed, gorgeous axel, stumbled out of triple lutz, so no combo. I like this music for him - he always struck me as a jazzy kind of skater. Score is 77.75, 38.15 TES 39.60 PCS. Into 3rd.

Holy crap, Kozuka's score is kind of low. He's behind Jason AND Adam.

American guys' scores were inflated. Especially Jason Brown.

He seems a little slow for me (could be a TV thing). In my view, he does all the Patrick Chan complicated moves and transitions but Patrick's speed and flow is superior.

But I know he's young and he has all the talent in the world to make this happen.

That was great but East of Eden should be retired and only owned by Kwan.

It will probably happen. Jason has always been very methodological in his training. Compare his bilelman-like camel spin from 2010 to now, for example.

Not a fan of the face caressing.

Great performance. He brought it. I have to say though... the taste level of that choreography and the costume are kind of offensive... And the O face throughout...
