More or less: more is more
Daisuke TAKAHASHI (JPN)
Music: Yesterday by John Lennon, Paul McCartney; Come Together by John Lennon, Paul McCartney; Friends and Lovers by George Martin; In My Life by by John Lennon, Paul McCartney; Presto (The Long and Winding Road) by John Lennon, Paul McCartney
Black pants, cream pleated shirt
4T - stepout, rotation maybe borderline < on replay
3Lz - nice exit edge
3A - bit forward on landing
3A+2T - turn in-between
3Lz+3T - landed, not much speed out
FCCoSp - very wobbly camel after jump entry
He seemed okay at start, but made some stupid mistakes at the end. Still, love his presence and presentation
Score: 72.40+86.72 = 159.12, 236.21, in 2nd out of 4
Dai gives me hope that he will deliver in the end.
Takahashi should seriously consider retirement now, that error-filled FS is just not going to make it.

Was Dai's program strong enough for the olympics? Not sure the music is big enough.
Other than the jumps, I think Dai's program is starting to grow on me. The cuts are still a little awkward and the problem is that it doesn't really build at the end. His step sequences are still beautiful though.
Love the power he generates from one single push
Okay, I will tell you now that I hate machidas costume.
leave no stone unturned
I have lost count how many great programs Daisuke has produced from 2010 and forth, I m not even counting the before 2009 ones!!I don't care about the jump mistakes
Daisuke was great for the past times (like in 2010) but I think that his time have past, he should think of retirement after this season.
I hope that he will stop skating after this season because he is not able to land those quads consistency, please don't do a male version of Fumie Suguri ...
I love the program...His technical elements are weak. He lost some points on spins.

DT's Score : 72.40 + 86.72 = 159.12
Extremely generous scores considering he had 7 errors in his program.
