I thought Isaac was going to tear into Seth over his comment about Marge. Anyhow, between Seth & Jeffery, I thought they both should have gotten the boot.

I agree both Seth Aaron & Jeffrey's designs were poor but Jeffrey's was ugly plus this was the 4th time (?) in the bottom for him but Seth Aaron's 1st, I think?

I think men who wear dress pants without socks should be made to do so in Antarctica and the North Pole...SUFFER FOR YOUR FASHION!

Isaac really is turning into a bitchy old queen isn't he.

The longer the season goes on the more I am convinced they are trying to throw the win to Viktor or Christopher.

What the hell happened to Anthony Ryan? He looked like he escaped from a mental hospital.

for me, I feel like the judges want Elena to win. She's been pretty consistently in the top.

Glad Irina won the challenge.

   WeakAnkles, thanks for the laugh. When I saw him I thought...why??? Some designers are just different I guess. I don't get it. Look at Georgina Chapman, beautiful!!!

I just watched that episode. Anthony Ryan looked seriously odd. That headstyle! (I can't call it a hairstyle. It looked as if paint was involved.) And his shorts! He made Viktor's fan look as sober as a briefcase. I hope that's not the latest look for the well-dressed man about town.

Sorry to see Irina go, even though I really didn't like her dress. So many of her other designs were super. I would have loved to see a collection from her. I actually thought Elena should have gotten the boot because she gets so crazy about the design and isn't that what the show is all about. I liked Seth's top of his dress, not the bottom. Didn't like Viktor's, it looked heavy. Korto's dress was sheer luck for her. Christopher's dress was classic...too bad Georgina wasn't there.

Sometimes you just want to smack these designers on the head and tell them, Wake up! Every time there has been a "design a dress for retail that will be produced" challenge, the best of the simple-to-produce designs wins. It's not rocket science after 23478993478234 seasons (at least it is beginning to feel like that many seasons at this point). It's production costs--no retailer aimed at mass market is going to produce a design that is too costly to manufacture. Jeez! And then they should remember that this is QVC we're talking about--home to Bedazzle Hell and other tacky clothes (Mrs Quackenbush or whatever her name was--essentially bedazzled sweat suits. UGH!).

Did anyone like Elena's jacket??? I thought it was a "going home jacket." It was the style that got me, wasn't that an 80's style??? I liked Christopher's dress, the color and the lace....Nina is crazy and rude...I'm glad that Christopher responded to her the way he did.

I'll wait until tomorrow to make other comments.

I'm not AT ALL a Christopher fan, but that was a MAJOR bee-yotch slap--and La Nina totally deserved it.

I missed it! I'll have to hunt online. I was ready but had a strenuous day and picked just that moment to go into a coma for about an hour--the wrong hour entirely. I felt great when I woke up, but man! Look at what I missed.

Hey Dee.

I have a friend who is short like that and the whole time her model was walking down the runway I could hear my friend in my head saying, Hey, why don't you just remove my KNEES as well so I can look even dumpier. I thought the jacket was actually nice--actually designed and eye-catching if a little stiff--but Elena would have been better putting her model into a pair of skinny pants, which I think would have helped with the proportions. That outfit would work very well on someone say 4"-6" taller.

Korto really deserved the win. That color of orchid is hard to carry off. Using it as a highlight the way Korto did I thought was a shrewd answer to the design problem. Actually, I once met a color specialist who worked for DuPont, who told me all these "trendy colors" are decided two years in advance--because it takes that long to have dyes for cloth made (not to mention the actual cloth!).

Sad to say but I think Seth Aaron is the next to go. What do you think?

On the other hand, Victor's fan is gone! Yes, that sound is the people rejoicing...

:)

Yeah, I think you're right and is it based on his hair style?? His hair would look better if it wasn't dyed so dark.

I was so happy to see Christian Siriano. He used to have a Seth hairdo but it looked good on him.

When he was leaving, I thought he might flick his fan but no , it would have made a statement!!!

I finally saw the episode. So glad to see Christian Siriano! He might be my favorite winner ever, and it was clear even when he was 21 and competing that he has a business sense, so he will be able to plan his career smartly.

I liked Elena's jacket. I love highly constructed jackets, though I agree that it overwhelmed the petite woman who was wearing it. I did love Korto's outfit best, though.

Since I'm fond of orchid, I don't see the difficulty in it as a color, especially when mixed well with other, more subtle colors. I don't think Christopher should have fixated on olive drab, though, because that color has a totally different "voice" from orchid. Other greens would have worked better, and of course then he could have accented the outfit with orchid instead of squeaking through with just the bag. Perhaps a color closer to sage green would have been better in this situation.

I thought Christopher's dress was OK on the blonde model; maybe on a darker skin it may have gotten lost and could look drab but I liked it.

I didn't have a problem with Elena's construction, I had a problem with the design and being safe.

Olympia, Heyang, Weakankles, I thought you would have lots to say. Sorry to see Christopher go. I loved his design and not sure why he was booted and Seth won. Seth's design was nice but wouldn't you have to be a minus minus zero to wear it??? The skirt widens the hip area so I don't see it being that saleable, just my opinion. Now with Christopher's design you get 2 looks for the price of one.

Hey all.

I wasn't particularly impressed with any of the designs. Seth's seemed to be this weird hybrid of urban tribal, June Cleaver, and Shirley Patridge. Christopher's dress, while a very good idea, was poorly constructed (lots of puckering in that bodice--if he had corrected that it would have really balanced out the drapery in the sarong). Korto let the patterns do all the work (a razorback back--for what? the 239783434th time on PR?). Elena's was nice, but girlfriend keeps throwing out the same silhouette week after week. And Christopher was right about the elephant ear shoulders. Not an impressive week.

And what the hell was "The Beautiful"* Georgina wearing? She looked like she interrupted her fantasy honeymoon to do some fashion judging. Oy!

*Please note, I am contractually obligated to call her "The Beautiful" each time I mention her name.

  You always make me laugh!!! What about the "beautiful" Isaac????

Now you have to admit that Georgina is a very, very pretty woman, don't you ???@#$

Yes, Christopher's bodice wasn't the best as far as the judges were concerned. I still liked it.

"The Beautiful" Georgina Chapman is indeed a beautiful woman, but that dress was like Fantasy Princess Wedding Night lingerie. Though I suppose when you're married to a Mr W you need all the fantasy you can get. LOL!

I once dated someone in the rag trade and met Mr Mizrahi on a few occasions. Trust me, there is nothing beautiful about him.

Oh I did like Christopher's dress. I thought the idea was great. But the judges were right about the bodice (the judging is usually better on PRAS--far less cracktastic than on the regular PR). I'm surprised they didn't send all four through to the finals. They've done so on numerous occasions for far less reason. And I think Christopher's 'pretty dresses' would fit in well with QVC, home of (among other things) the Quackenbush Collection of velour track suits. We're not talking haute couture here! LOLOLOL!

Should be an interesting finale. I don't think Seth Aaron has a chance, though I think he's by the far the most talented of the remaining designers.
