P/M have no future in the sport. He has to find a shorter partner and she has to find a taller one.

Margaret PURDY / Michael MARINARO (CAN)

Music: Casablanca (soundtrack) by Max Steiner

She's in white dress. He's in black pants, white vest over white shirt and black butterfly

    3Tw - low catch, crashy
    3T+2T - she stepout'ed on 3T, added 2T with twofoot
2A - she landed with hop
    Li
    FiDs
Li - ended early on position change, she sort of fell down on him
    3LoTh - perhaps twofooted
    CCoSp
    Li
    3STh - solid
    ChSq
    PCoSp

Lots of mistakes, once again on a lift. They're struggling on the pairs elements, as is she on the sbs jumps

Davis's costume is not flattering on her at all.

D/B very disappointing. In addition to the major mistakes, they have very little connection out there, even for a new team.

Lindsay DAVIS / Rockne BRUBAKER (USA)

Music: Les Parapluies de Cherbourg by Michel Legrand

She's in white dress w/ pink apliquees. He's in grey/white ombre costume

    3S - solid
    3Tw - bit low caught
    2A+2T - clean
    ChSq
RLi - botched position change, had to set her down early
    CCoSp
    Li
    3STh - twofooted, turn out
    3FTh - fall
    Li - bit shaky entry
    FiDs
    PCoSp - bit slow

Good start with sbs jumps, but their pair elements were weaker. After the lift mistakes, they didn't seem "into" their skate anymore

    FS: 52.47+49.55-1.00=101.02, 153.71, in 1st (out of 2)
