this is working right relate to the sound-image http://www.stream2watch.me/live-tv/e...-2-live-stream
Lackluster showing by Hicks. I'm not seeing how the choreography has any relationship to the music, such a missed opportunity. One sit-down at end of a jump pass, but most of her jumps looked like she was landing really low and having to wide-swing the free leg. She sick or something?
Courtney doesn't seem to be her normal spitfire self. She was a bit slow.
Courtney HICKS (USA)
Music: Evita by Andrew Lloyd Webber
Dark blue/purple strapless dress
3F+3T - ok, bit round curve
StSq - her weaker edges showing here, bit lumbering
3Lz+2T+2Lo - no speed out, fall
3Lz - nice spring to it
3F - nice
Solid skate, 7 triples rotated. Her feet are quite clunky, and the arch in her jumps is too "round" for my taste. But she should be able to move up. Lacked her usual fire, though
FS: 62.31+49.99-1.00=111.30, 162.00
Praise the skating gods! Courtney's not wearing the awful half-over-the-skates tights! Good recovery from yesterday.
Good technical score, very low PCS for Hicks. Apparently the USFS hasn't been politicking for her like they have for Gracie.
Does anyone have a link sychronised with the sound ?
NoNameFace's link works fine. Thanks btw.
Don't do that, it might hurt.
Tough skate for Mallet. A couple of falls, and I spotted at least one UR.
Say what you will about Hicks but, she did her job. I don't have delusions of her skating like a Kwan.
I really like Veronik Mallet--where has she been hiding all this time? She has a nice ice personality and joyful quality that is infectious. Good choice of music, I'm happy to see some solid show tunes in between all the overblown warhorses. She definitely needs to go to triple loop clinic. Had it not been for those two falls, this program would have really been swell.
