I'm a bit surprised that the Finnstep SD would inspire so many similar music choices.

Charleston
Horrible music (or acoustics or both)
Madison had a non smootness in the first of 3 twizzles, which put them out of synch, Evan a slight stumble in the step.
Not as good as last year's program for me.
Fusar-Poli with them in KnC, as for Carron Jones

Madison was a bit shaky during their twizzles, and Evan was bit shaky during the non-touching step sequence. It was an ok program. not sure if I'm completely sold on it yet.

Slow Foxtrot: Big Spender by Cy Coleman and Dorothy Fields
Quickstep: Sing Sing Sing by Louis Prima
Charleston: Mein Herr by John Kander
Choreo for SD Laurie M. Ayivigan

Hate the music edit in the laugh, laugh, laugh section
love the complexity of the lift (you've got to see it) but I wonder whether Nathalie is supposed to end up on her knees like that and whether it will be counted as a fall???

Igor with Fusar-Poli in the KnC
they are saying to each other it is very good
why so long? reviewing...
62.60 with a deduction

I'm wondering about it too...

That was a great program and that lift is a sight to see, but the Eurosport commentators said it may get counted as a fall.

First performance out - very energetic Nat and Fab!! Crazy amt of transitions in that final lift!

uuu...low score for Nathalie/Fabian compared to Cappellini/Lanotte or Weaver/Poje, and a deduction - probably for that lift

As much as I hate to say this, Bobrova/Soloviev just destroyed Pechalat/Bourzat with that performance. More speed and power, really sharp and light over the ice throughout.

Quickstep Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friends by Jule Styne
Caro Emerald that Man
Fans had a gorgeous banner for them with their pictures on it.
That was a very ragged finnstep. In fact it was all very frantic and whatever the opposite of controlled & crisp is. I wouldn't have it ahead of Nathalia & Fabian, but that's me.
65.70
Hard marking panel compared to SA & SC.

PCS good for top couples-hard panel, I think, for sure.

P&B edged B&S on PCS-but I would have had the gap bigger. I think B&S were probably faster, though, which is where the loss of control came from.

Bobrova/Soloviev - medicore for me, I like them much more in dance holds, when they skate together, when they are not, I have a feeling they're all over the place and not in sync...

65+ for them...I don't think they should be ahead of French couple
