It seems that Plushy jumped triple toe loop, 3A and cascade of 3Lutz+2toe loop. Streams don't work for me. :(

Me neither, alas... Well, one does show an ad, and after that an odd couple in stripes... no idea what that was...

    Hopefully there will be videos?

The streams probably got overloaded...But there will probably be videos in the following channel, according to the organizers:
    http://www.youtube.com/user/VolvoCupRiga/videos
There will probably also be home videos.

Protocols for men are up: http://kristalice.lv/Results/Volvo22..._SP_Scores.pdf

Plushenko landed 3T, 3A, 3Lz+2T. Was this layout performed as planned, as he got +GOE? (a 3Lz+3T would have been invalid with the solo 3T)
Spins were level 4, 3 and 4. Steps were 4. So solid.
PCS ranging from high 7's and low 9's, averaging to mid 8's.

TES was 39.64, which is more than enough for EC and Olys (25.00), and Worlds (34.00) though I doubt it's on his agenda.

So plushenko has competed in the 2013-2014 olympic season!! It's official! Does he get to the Olympics?

I would have liked to see that combo in the bonus though!

Actually, I just wanted to mention that his TES was 39.64... 33.10 was the base value of his elements.

Edit: and here is the first home video, thanks to Jelena Birk:

If he did 4t, and 3z-3t, it would be around 90, so his budget skate is only 82.34
Let's hope someone will load good video, for this historical moment.

Zhenya, little by little one step at a time, good howing so far
he dosent need to load it all up right now, he met the minimum tes and the important thing is to fully heal by Olympics

Mishin must be proud 2 students go 1-2 here
though Petrov is only 14 yrs thus would have been disqualified, is senior eligibility for men is also 14 years old ?

    3axel and 3lutz/2toe were good.
All spins were quite weak. He struggled with difficult variations.
Program was really empty and he was quite slow for a skater of this standard.

I totally disagree on spins. There was no fusp in sight! Kovtun the main opponent is actually doing 2 point worth fusps!!! He has no artificial disc! They were all filled with difficult variations and maybe because he was fresh he got so low on the sit spin! I was shocked! The camera isn't that close and if his moves weren't so identifiable overall i wouldn't believe he got so low on a sit spin!

As always there were preceding steps before his lutz. Steps are supposed to be before solo but lutz is not the planned combo so that's where the Preceding steps were!
