Vancouver has won the 2006 World Junior Hockey bid!!
This is bad news for us skating fans... 2006 might have been a good year for Vancouver to host the Canadian Nationals... a trial for the Olympics but still giving enough time to work out glitches for 2010. The Hockey would go from Dec. 26 - Jan 5th... Then Skate Canada has said Nationals would be from Jan. 10-15, 2006.... I don't think they could kick out the Canucks from GM place for that long of period.... I think Vancouver won't get the nationals for that reasons... darn Canucks...
I hope we will get the 2007 Canadian Nationals!
