top ten Olympic hopefuls who are injured

I was wondering about some of the top ten Olympic hopefuls - how are they doing? Is Joubert injured - how is he doing? What about kevin Reynolds his boot problem okay not really an injury must be severe he didn't even do his National challenge skate. Korpi? Hegelsson? Osmond? Kavaguti and Smirnov looked pretty much out of it. Some of them might want to return to old skate performances withlack of training and mileage on the new programs.

According to rumors, Joubert's problems might be more political than physical. He did not participate at Masters which upset some very important people.

Because of her injuries during the last season, and the beginning of the current one, Kiira Korpi didn't qualify to the Sochi Olympics. So Finland (=Korpi) will have the spot only if two of the ladies already qualified for the games have to withdraw, which isn't, of course, the thing we want to happen. It is unsure, too, if she will be back in good shape that time. She is healing well and has already been on ice, will move back to California in December to train for the Europeans (?) and the World Championships, latter the more realistic target. Hope she will be there in good shape and well motivated.
